The Joy in Finding a New Medium, Stained Glass

When I moved to Plymouth a few years ago, I located a wonderful glass artist, Leslie B. Allen who offered stained glass classes. So I took a chance (needing a break from painting) and found a new love in this medium.

I love to work with lots of color and when I hold a new piece up to the natural daylight, it is bright and cheerful. I love how the pieces change as the light changes and I like to make things that are functional and beautiful. The latest pieces have been mirrors surrounded by bursts of colorful glass.

They can be hung in the bathroom (one woman purchased a piece for her husband to use as his shaving mirror) or any window in the house. Some people have even expressed an interest in hanging them backwards, preferring the backside (which I try to make as interesting as the front).

Art Cards, Greetings cards, Personalized invitations and Favors

I've been creating handmade cards and gifts for as long as I've been able to hold a crayon and scissors. Since I've been asked recently, I am now making my paper (and non-paper) creations available to you for all your party planning needs! I enjoy personalizing cards and special gifts, making them unique and memorable.

To place an order of handmade, personalized cards (baby shower, bachelorette party, children's birthday party or any occasion really), set of art cards, or to discuss the many possilibities for one of a kind party gifts and favors, please contact me or call 617-347-4000.
